Born in 1985, Dnipro. Graduated from Dnipropetrovsk Theater and Art College, was a student of Dnipropetrovsk Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture. Since 2009 Daniil Galkin has been working on "2222" experimental art group which comprises alter-egos of one author – himself. The art group was nominated for Kandinsky Prize in 2013. Winner of the Grand Prix of MUHi 2011; nominated for PinchukArtPrize 2011 and 2015. Participant of the first International Contemporary Art Biennale in Kyiv ARSENALE 2012. Sergiy Kuruhin 2012 Award winner. Winner of the Special Prize of PinchukArtCentre Prize 2013. Finalist of Malevich Art Prize 2014. Had personal and participated in group exhibitions in South Korea, Berlin, London, Moscow, Bratislava , Prague and Kyiv. Lives and works in Dnipro.
