Maria Kulikovska was born in 1988 in the city of Kerch, Ukraine. She graduated from the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv, Ukraine. From 2016 to 2017, she studied at the Royal Institute of Fine Arts in Stockholm, Sweden. She participated in the MUHi project in 2011 and was nominated for the Pinchuk Art Prize in 2013. She is the author of architectural projects, including the building of the Shcherbenko Art Center, in Ukraine, Switzerland, and China. She conducted lecture courses and workshops on contemporary art in Kyiv (VCRC, Bottega gallery, PinchukArtCentre), Donetsk (IZOLYATSIA), Dnipro, Liverpool, and Malmo.
