Biography
Vasyl Savchenko is a Ukrainian artist born in Lviv, Ukraine, in 1994. In 2011 was a finalist in the Young Ukrainian Artists competition (MUHi). He earned his Master of Fine Arts degree at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, Poland 2018, specializing in Graphics and Media Art. Since 2018, he has been engaged in teaching activities at the Digital Techniques Studio, Post-Digital Graphics Department, and Graphic Art Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, Poland.
In 2021, he co-founded the Savchenko Foundation, which oversees the cultural institution Savchenko Gallery in Gdańsk, Poland. Vasyl Savchenko has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Poland, Ukraine, France, Spain, China, Turkey, Lithuania, Switzerland, the United States, Thailand, and Japan. He currently lives and works in Gdańsk, Poland.
