Shcherbenko Art Centre focuses on exhibiting works and projects of contemporary Ukrainian artists, including young generation. The Art Centre was founded in 2012 by gallery owner and curator Maryna Shcherbenko and is based on the most prominent contemporary art galleries of Kyiv) – Bottega Gallery (2008 – 2015).

Shcherbenko Art Centre (SHCHAC) aims to create a platform for non-commercial projects that deal with social issues and provide an opportunity to combine visual art and literature, music, architecture, design, fashion within curatorial projects and exhibitions of contemporary Ukrainian artists.

An important branch of SHCHAC activity is the MUHi contest (from Ukrainian “Young Ukrainian Artists”) founded in 2009. This is a multipurpose project intended to support emerging Ukrainian artists, their development and integration into the national and world art community. The educational program of the MUHi project is designed both for the general and professional audience.
