Biography
Victor Marushchenko is a famous Ukrainian photographer, participated in over 60 solo and group photo exhibitions in Switzerland, Germany, France, USA, Canada, Brazil, Chile, Slovakia, Russia, Ukraine. Participant of the Venice Biennale (2001) and Sao Paulo Biennale (2004). Marushchenko photos are held in the collections of museums, galleries and private collectors.
Born in Novosibirsk (Russia) in 1946. In 1975 received technical education. In 1975-1981 worked as engineer. In 1979-1981 studied at Faculty of Journalism in Kyiv. In 1997-1998 worked as press photgrapher in newspaper "Day". Since 1999 – chairman at the Kyiv oraganization of the National union of artists of Ukraine.
