MUHi Forum 2021
Community, environment, collaboration – these concepts occupy a prominent place in the vocabulary of art professionals in Ukraine. They can be heard both in institutions and in informal communication, equally common in the non-commercial and commercial arts sectors. Nevertheless, the discussion about what we have in common, what our theoretical and practical positions are, is always relevant. The MUHi 2021 Forum brings together art professionals: artists, curators, researchers, managers of art institutions representing the communities of Kyiv, Lviv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Dnipro, and Poltava to discuss the contemporary art environment in Ukraine. We invite you to consistently reflect on the ideas that prevail in our environment. The event takes the form of panel discussions and reports on generations, feminism, the art system, curation, education, legal relations, institutions, and the presentation of a new book on the history of the competition “MUHi 2009-2021”.
