On October 18, 2015, during the 37th Ukrainian Fashion Week, the project VYTOKY was presented for the second time. It was dedicated to the traditional culture of Ukrainians starting from the origins to the present.

In addition to historical costumes, the interactive exhibition presents jewelry, musical instruments, furniture, rare photographs from private collections of Ukrainian collectors in symbiosis with the works of contemporary Ukrainian artists and subject designers. They create conceptual works rethinking Ukrainian traditions and materials. The exposition of the project is built on the complementarity and contrast of modern art, design, and traditional Ukrainian antiquities.

Within the VYTOKY project, a number of Ukrainian artists presented their works. Among them are Tiberiy Szilvashi, Anna Naduda, Oleksandr Babak, Alina Maksimenko, Valeriya Troubina, Viktor Melnychuk, Anatoliy Hankevych, Ivan Prykhodko.

The project was curated by gallery curator and art manager Maryna Shcherbenko and folklorist and ethnographer Marichka Kvitka.

Authentic costumes from private collections were provided by: Yuriy Melnychuk, Volodymyr Shchybrya, Olena Skrypka, Lyudmyla Sivtseva-Klymuk, Ihor Perevertnyuk, Natalia Chabanyuk, Vitaliy Provolovsky, Bohdan Petrychuk, Oleksandr Volovodovsky, the Afanasyev family (and “Відкрита cкриня” collection)
