Biography

Was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Graduated from the Kharkiv Art Academy of Design and Arts (specialty "History of Arts"). Yevheniya has participated in various group and solo exhibitions in Ukraine, Italy, and Austria. She is a laureate of the 2018 NonStopMedia contest.

Description

In her series "The Hero with a Thousand Faces," Laptii works with myths predating the Christian civilization, as the advent of Christianity marks the gradual decline of myth as an everyday practice. In her works, myths are adapted to the contemporary context.
