    Description

    The Shell

Any person gains many meanings, thoughts, principles, certain established images, social frames, clichés or features, ideologies and beliefs through time. We create a personal shell that encompasses, protects and at the same time isolates the individual from the outside world. We also create a certain image with it, we want to look better, smarter or richer. The shell is not us, it is only a side effect of our life…

This shell is our protection, but at the same time a cage. Is it possible to escape or just look out and observe your own shell?

For almost 6 hours of the performance, Anna Naduda covers the model Victor Ruban with a shell made of colored wire, which becomes his second body after escaping from his own shell.
