“Every artist has works that are rerealized over time. Shot in 2018, the video shows the helplessness of the creature, even captures a certain state. The state of expectation of something unknown, anxiety about the future. Being nowhere, feeling the impossibility to change something, despair and suffocation, the creature tries to move chaotically losing last strength and confusing itself even more. When we were shotting this video, we wanted to add the sound of a working ventilator for display, but for some reason we didn’t. And now I am writing this text and goosebumps are running down my skin, because the video in the context of the events that are happening now all over the world will be soundless forever”, as Maria comments the artwork.
